Hey everyone! Lord of AIR here (Thanks Dave).
A combination of having literally no spending money and focusing on the podcast has led to a quiet page lately. Let's get back to business.
Viva Belgrado - Flores, Carne Pre-order
It's almost here! I'll only have 50, and considering how brilliant this record is, they will most likely go pretty quickly. It'll be up over in the shop if you want to get in on one of the pre-orders, and the records will be here in roughly a months time (if I had to guess).
Old Soul/Nous Etions Orders
Okay, so with Old Soul, I have everything except for the records themselves. I'll be getting them very shortly. For anyone that snagged Nous up recently, I had inserts made and need to go pick them up. To anyone that has ordered those, sorry for the delay. Expect some extra goodies to be inside.
Upcoming Releases
I've been scraping it lately and I unfortunately had to turn down some fantastic records. There is still one that is coming up, but it would be 'unceremonious' of me to divulge any more. After that, I will probably tone it down for a bit? Expect some tape releases and most likely some non-screamo stuff. Come to think of it, though, the more you buy, the more I'll be able to put out ;)
Districts also had the pleasure of playing the last Ken Burns show this past weekend. They are an amazing band and awesome people. Also, any excuse to go to Olneyville is good enough for me. I'll be co-releasing some Districts stuff later on this year was my point, though!
Friends
My friends are doing so many cool things musically, and I just wanted to take this opportunity to plug some of their things on my wildly popular limited run blog section. I'm sure all the traffic this site gets will do them wonders, our metrics are crazy.
Old Wild Eyes
This album was two years in the making and I was lucky enough to see the songs grow from skeletons to a beautifully flushed out album. The lyrical content is really great, and the vocals are so so good. They are also going to be recording the intro song to the kids podcast my friends and I have been working on, and we are so stoked!
Clique
PJ has been a good friend for a while, and his musical output has been nothing short of impressive. It's a lot different than Girl Scouts, but damn it's so addictingly good. This band was good right out of the gate, I'm really excited to see where they go.
Choke Up
I've never enjoyed a lengthy LP THIS much. None of these 14 tracks come off as filler to me, and I've had them in heavy rotation for a year now. Really good songs to run to, if that's your thing. Sam and Harley are both in Old Wild Eyes, too!
Thanks to anyone who has picked anything up, it's scarce, but it's a really cool feeling when I open an e-mail and see that someone has ordered something. I was away for a bit, but expect to hear more from AIR soon.

Hey everyone!
Been waiting to do one big update, so here it is. In case you were unaware, Viva Belgrado has released one of the best screamo records in a long time, entitled Flores, Carne. AIR is one of the labels working on the physical release, and I couldn't be more excited. Stream it below, or pick it up digitally for $1+, and help us raise more money for the St. Louis Area Foodbank and the Ferguson Public Library.
Speaking of that, in case you missed the Facebook post, we have teamed up with a ton of great labels with the idea of donating December's Bandcamp earnings to the aforementioned organizations. What has happened is nothing new, but it was never, and will never, be okay. Let's make sure we keep the conversation going, and aid in whatever way we can. All releases will be $1+ for the remainder of the month to help with that, so be sure to check out our releases and donate in the process. There are a ton of great labels involved, like Asian Man, Broken World, Middle Man, Mayfly, and Skeletal Lightning. Here's a link to the full list of labels (there are also a bunch of bands):

To aid in our portion, I'll be releasing an end of the year compilation on Monday. It will feature tracks from bands we have worked with during our first active year, as well as impressive tracks from good friends and great local artists. Really excited about that.
Lastly, we have a new logo! Our puppy chew threw my mac cable, and the computer I'm using won't let me upload that, but you can see it... everywhere!
Cheers everyone, don't forget to download and donate!

Salut! Comment vas-tu?!
It's here! The newest release from Nous Étions, La Manière Noire, came out beautifully. Once I get around to getting/making the inserts (I'll also be getting the Mono/Wounded inserts) I'll list it to pick up!
It was such a privilege to take part in this release. I got to work with great friends/their labels, and the dudes in this band are great. Expect a little something more that involves both us and them soon ;)
Nous Étions - La Manière Noire (AIR004)
Just got the word from IFB that the amazing, screenprinted inserts for Old Soul's Natures Arms Encircle All are all set, and they are on their way here. Dave just posted a picture of one of the Old Soul records that he just got in, and as you can see… these mixed records have some beautiful variants.
I'm listing up some Districts merch, alongside very limited copies of Bravo Fucking Bravo and Kidcrash releases, in the next couple of days. I have a bunch of records coming in distro soon, and we are still waiting on the new logo as the artist is super swamped!

Hope y'all are having a spooky Halloween week. We've been busy over here and just wanted to let you know what we had going on!
AIR001, AIR002, and AIR004 are in the store, and absolutely worth checking out! Newly up for purchase in the store:
AIR001:
Said Goner - S/T 12"
Said Goner is the brainchild of Adam Ciresi, an artist, both visual and musical, that you may know from his heavier bands, Carrion Spring and Logs. This 11-track LP (transparent with black smoke) is in a completely different realm than that of the aforementioned bands, but still maintains the stylistic characteristics that are distinctly Adam's. The amalgamation of folk, punk, emo, grunge, and alt-rock present on this record is nothing short of amazing. An impressively strong debut LP. Go pick one up in the store and get the two unreleased tracks that go along with it!
Released by Ancient Injury, Zegema Beach, and Sieve and Sand.
AIR002
Things Fall Apart/Tall Ships Set Sail/Infro/Shizune - Split 12"
Each of these four bands delivers two brilliant tracks, and they are available here, in a few different variations. An electric blue/pink split was paired with a mixed color lot, and luckily they kept the split system going. We have some really cool split mixed color records, so definitely go and pick one up. Tall Ships and Shizune are both working on new releases, and from the live tidbit I've heard from Shizune, it is going to be amazing. Easily one of my most anticipated records.
AIR004
Monoliths. / WOUNDED KNEE - Split 7"
Dang, talk about riffs. I've been friends with Monoliths. vocalist Kehan for quite some time, and Jake, WOUNDED KNEE's vocalist, is actually one of the people who helped release the Districts split back in 2012. This one was a no brainer. Available as a one side electric pink, one side blue 7" or a 70g black variant, you can pick it up here.
In other news…
The Nous Étions LP, entitled La Manière Noire, should be arriving at my doorstep TOMORROW. I'll post some pics when they get here! I'm so excited about this release, and the fact that I get to see my dear Canadian friends again as they tour down this way in a couple weeks. The vinyl release of Old Soul's first 2011 release should be in our hands soon as well.
Distro
We know that it is looking a little bare with the lonesome Districts / Regret, the Informer Split 12, but much more is on the way. In a few weeks time we will have plenty of savory records and tapes up in there for you to check out.
Logo
The amazingly talented Dave Watt of GIRLFIGHT is working on sketches as we speak. It will be a little different that what you may be accustomed to seeing on the back of AIR releases, but this final edit is really set in the direction I've always wanted. Dave was the one who did the "hand" poster for ALS FEST II, while my friend Justin (who did the current AIR logo) did the "ring" ALS FEST II poster. These guys are great and I can't thank them enough.
On the realm of thanks, I want to extend a huge thank you to Dave over at Zegema Beach. In our chats I had brought up how I'd always wanted to start a label, and he was there to help me do that with a slew of great releases. You're the man, Dave!
